The Banco de Moçambique issued Notice No. 5/GBM/2026 of 28 July, which amends the foreign exchange position limits set by the Regulation on Prudential Ratios and Limits for Credit Institutions, approved by Notice No. 9/GBM/2017 of 5 June. The amendment aims to strengthen the prudential framework for credit institutions and align foreign exchange risk management with developments in the financial market and the domestic economy.
