Market Operations System
The Market Operations System (MOS) represents a set of rules and procedures that shall be observed by the Banco de Moçambique and institutions authorized to participate in the Interbank Foreign Exchange Market (IFEM) and the Interbank Money Market (IMM).
All communications between the Banco de Moçambique and institutions participating in the IFEM and IMM shall regard the rules laid down in the MOS and, in general, occur electronically via computer application or other means of communication indicated by the Banco de Moçambique.
The MOS operates at the Banco de Moçambique, every working day from 08:00 to 15:30 hours. Only institutions authorized by the Banco de Moçambique, having valid credentials, can access the information provided on this page through the links below.
