Advisory Board

The Advisory Board constitutes an extended consultation body for the Board of Directors. The Board meets regularly once a year and extraordinarily whenever convened by the central bank's Governor, and its duties comprise:

  • Advising on matters of interest to the Bank's activities and the national economy;
  • Advising on matters regarding the Bank's organization and operations;
  • Advising on matters expressly entrusted to the body by the Board of Directors;
  • Taking stock of activities and plan future actions.

47th CCBM - Challenges and Opportunities of the Sugar Industry in Mozambique: The Case of the Sofala Province

The 47th Advisory Board meeting of the Banco de Moçambique shall take place between November 4 and 2, 2022, in Beira city. The first two days are reserved for discussing internal institution matters, whilst the third should focus on public presentations and discussing on the “Challenges and Opportunities of the Sugar Industry in Mozambique: The Case of the Sofala Province.”
