This Wednesday (31), the Governor of the Banco de Moçambique, Rogério Zandamela, called a press conference to announce the latest decisions of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC), highlighting the reduction of the MIMO policy rate from 15.00% to 14.25%.

According to Rogério Zandamela, this decision is underpinned by the continued consolidation of single-digit inflation prospects over the medium term, in a context where the assessment of the risks and uncertainties associated with projections remains favorable.

In attendance at the press conference were Board members, managers and advisers of the Banco de Moçambique.
