This Wednesday (27), the Governor of the Banco de Moçambique held a press conference to announce the latest decisions of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC), highlighting the reduction of the MIMO policy rate from 16.50% to 15.75%.

According to the central bank Governor, this decision is underpinned by the consolidation of prospects for single-digit inflation over the medium term, amid an ongoing favorable assessment of risks and uncertainties associated with projections.
