The Banco de Moçambique recently issued Notice No. 12/GBM/2024, of December 30, approving the Central Credit Register Regulation.  This regulation sets new rules for the reporting of liabilities by participating entities, namely institutions supervised or monitored by the Banco de Moçambique that engage in lending or activities directly associated with credit.  Among the innovations introduced, the change in the reporting periodicity, the possibility of paying charges for access and consultation to the CRC, and the expansion of the scope of participating entities are highlighted.

This notice repeals Notice No. 7/GGBM/2003 of January 14, 2004.
