This Monday (27), the Governor of the Banco de Moçambique held a press conference to announce the latest decisions of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC), highlighting the reduction of the MIMO policy rate from 15.75% to 15.00%.

According to the Governor, this decision is underpinned by the continued consolidation of single-digit inflation prospects over the medium term, in a context where the assessment of the risks and uncertainties associated with projections remains favorable.

Moreover, Rogério Zandamela also disclosed information regarding the latest financial system stability assessment by the Banco de Moçambique Financial Stability and Inclusion Committee (CEIF).
