This Wednesday (31), the Governor of the Banco de Moçambique, Rogério Zandamela, called for a press conference to announce the latest decisions of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC), particularly the decrease in the MIMO policy rate from 17.25% to 16.50%.
The decision made known by the central bank Governor follows from the consolidation of forecasts for maintaining inflation in the single digits over the medium term, amid a more positive assessment of the risks and uncertainties associated with inflation projections.
